Long before it was a mainstream concept, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. deeply understood the central tenets of mindfulness. The example we explore in this episode is how he embraced the ideal of being centered in oneself and not allowing externalities or hatred spewed by other people - to taint how we see ourselves, or provoke us to wrong action.
Let us remember his example and do our own part to build a better world by being mindful in how we show up in it.
